Sport courses for children, young people and families
The City of Helsinki offers trick training, skating schools and racket sports for children, young people and families.
The spring term is from 8 January to 26 April 2024 (no classes in week 8 or on public holidays).
You can register for the classes in the sports services online shop (liikuntakauppa.hel.fi). You can sign up at any time of the season. Courses are offered in Finnish, Swedish and sign language.
In addition to sports courses, the city organises a range of inexpensive and even free activities for children and young people. EasySport offers an easy and meaningful exercise for 3rd–6th graders, organised all over the city. FunAction offers versatile and inspiring activities aimed at 13–17-year-olds.
There are also inexpensive and even free activities for families. There are family activities for children under school age and their parents, and families are also welcome to share and test their own exercise ideas. On Sundays, Liikuntahulinat sports sessions offer children under 9 years of age and their families the opportunity to move in a versatile manner.
