Physical activity counselling
Physical activity counselling is for people who, for one reason or another, do not exercise as much as their health requires and who need support for starting a more physically active life.
During the physical activity counselling process, which is free and lasts 3–6 months, the person drafts, together with an exercise counsellor, a plan that aims to increase the person’s everyday physical activity and to promote a way of life that includes exercise. The starting point of physical activity counselling is the customer’s interests and opportunities for increasing their physical activity.
