School Action Day event Thursday 25.9.2025

This year the city of Helsinki will organize #Beactive School Action Day event during European Week of Sports in Töölö area in co-operation with Espoo and Vantaa Cities and the Finnish National Agency for Education and the Ministry of Education and Culture.  

The event is held in Töölö Kisahalli, Olympic Stadium sports facilities, Olympic Stadium square, football fields and Eläintarha track and field. Sport clubs and sport associations will organize all the activities and classes will rotate them according to a schedule except the activities in Olympic Stadium square which can be used freely.  

The event is aimed at school children in grades 3 to 9, and it will be held during the school day from 9.00 to 15.00. The registration will be open from 11 to 15 August and detailed registration instructions will be sent to schools at the beginning of August.
