Paying for special swimming cards

You can purchase special swimming cards in the Töölö Sports Hall office. In addition to this, the previous points of sale in Itäkeskus, Jakomäki and Pirkkola swimming halls are still in use.

Paying for exercise courses

Courses booked via liikuntakauppa.hel.fi are paid for when making the booking. Paper invoices are sent by post for bookings made over the telephone. You can also make an e-invoicing agreement with the City of Helsinki, in which case the invoices are sent directly to your online bank.

Learn more about the e-invoice agreement here

Once you have received an invoice for the course, you can pay it through you online bank or, if you prefer, in cash or with a sports benefit (ePassi, SmartumPay, MyEdenred, Smartum’s exercise and culture benefit, Edenred’s Virike or Tyky sports and cultural benefit) at these locations:

  • Itäkeskus Swimming Hall
  • Jakomäki Swimming Hall
  • Liikuntamylly
  • Pirkkola Swimming Hall
  • Töölö Sports Hall

Bring with you the paper invoice or a printout of the e-invoice. It is not possible to print the invoice at the payment locations, and the course fee cannot be paid without the paper invoice. The paper invoice will be left at the checkout, from where it will be sent to accounting.

The City of Helsinki does not have insurance for the customers.

Fishing and sea bird hunting licences

The purchase of bird hunting licences will be transferred to the Kalanet online service. The service is available at www.kalakortti.com (in Finnish). City fishing licences are already available through the service.

Cash payments

Cash payments will be accepted alongside card payments at sports facilities. Card payments are preferred on islands, but cash payments remain acceptable there as well. Cash payments are not accepted in Latokartano sports hall.
